LLMs invent new tells constantly, and everyone's "Yuck!" is a little different. If you've spotted a pattern Straitjacket should catch — or a false positive it shouldn't! — file an issue. Concrete examples help most. Three things especially wanted:
- New rules — a deterministic smell that generalizes across repos and is visible in the text of a file.
- False positives — a place a rule fires on something that is genuinely fine. The most useful report is the smallest file that reproduces it.
- Language coverage — a rule that should fire on a file type it currently skips, or skips a file type it shouldn't.
Pull requests are welcome on
the repository. Straitjacket
scans itself under its own rules, so straitjacket should be clean before you
open one.
